Week  3 & 4

- Cass Yang & Joshua Cooke -

Week  3

1st August, 2016

During week 3, we pretty much have done our research about the four industrial area, which are wastage, flavouring, current product and potential nutrition. We also have done the SIPOC diagram and post it on the website. The home page of the website has been polished, especially the navigation part. For the PFD diagram, we have split the processing into 4 technical areas, which are slaughtering, dressing, boning and packaging.

In the new session of engineering study of this week, we have learnt how to design our website. And we have a brief idea on our website polishing--- a brief introduction of the industry on the home page, a clear background design and the reference section for our writing. We also developed our new four areas for the industry, which are Current Market, Regulations, Wastage and Current Products.

Week  4

8th August, 2016

On the first day of week 4 we had a meeting focused on website plans for the furture, and also overlooking what everybody did for their individual parts for the website. We chose navigation for this part, by using arrows togo inbetween each part on separate pages. We also decided on a reference button, which will take our readers to another page with our references on. We decided on this so that our individual pages were not blocked up with references.

During the recent session of engineering study we learnt what team members are present in a functional team, and also about couch potatoes and hitchhikers. Givin our previous semester in different teams we were able to make the most out of this session as we had practical practice to strengthen our theory. We also edited our whole website as a team, spellcheching eachothers work.

Cass proposed a new rule, that there be no phones during our next meetings, and it was passed.
